this morning the pharmacy at the center of a deadly meningitis outbreak is voluntarily recalling all of its products. the new england compounding center says the move is just a precaution and says there is no indication any other products were contaminated. the centers for disease control report 91 cases of fungal meningitis in nine cases connected to the massachusetts health facility. seven people have died, including one person in maryland and another person in virginia. they were all treated with contaminated steroids for back pain. the redskins' home struggles continue. the redskins are 2-3 on the season after losing their eighth straight home game. >> michael turner, big hole, heading for the goal line. he's in. touchdown. >> redskins fell to the undefeated falcons 24-17 at fedex field. the falcons scored the go ahead touchdown with less than three mips in t minutes in the game.

this morning police are trying to figure out what led to a brawl between two wedding parties at a philadelphia hotel. the fight ended with one man dead, seven people injured, and at least four people arrested. the whole thing was caught on video. a sheraton hotel dad shot this

video on his cell phone and posted it on youtube. you can see several police officers clash with some of the wedding guests there. police say at least 75 to 100 people were fighting by the time they arrived. >> they just started punching each other and hitting each other. >> the uncle of one of the brides suffered a heart attack and died. the sheraton hotel released a statement offering their condolences. they also say they are cooperating with police in the investigation. a border patrol agent killed last week near the mexico border will be laid to rest today. nicholas ivie died tuesday in arizona. the head of the union says it was a case of friendly fire. ivie shot at two fellow agents he thought were armed smug leisurlers. ivie was killed when those agents returned fire. the names of 80 firefighters who died last year and 5 who died in years past were added to

the memorial on the grounds of the national fire academy in emitsburg, maryland. families of the fallen firefighters came together to honor their loved ones. this morning police are trying to determine who killed a man and left his body on the doorstep of a home in northern virginia. police were called to the 5400 block of broadmoor street early sunday morning. they found the body of 34-year-old mark earl ifs outside the home. they say he had trauma to his body. police tell news 4 the man appeared to have a wound to his head. >> our earlier investigation, we believe the suspect in this case is actually an acquaintance of our victim. >> police do not believe there is any threat to the community. the coast guard is searching for two maryland men who vanished while boating. the two brothers left ocean city, maryland, heading to

chincoteague, virginia. they were expected to arrive saturday night. the wife of one of the men called the coast guard when her husband didn't show up. the search for a dog ends well. it was missing since an attack in the northeast. they found murray on saturday. on friday murray's owner was attacked by another dog. murray slipped out of his leash and disappeared. the man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. she screamed for help, and the man ran off. murray has a broken leg but is expected to be okay. a consumer alert for pet owners. a common ingredient in pet shampoos could lead to a serious reaction. the ingredient called d-limonene is an oil extract. both cats and dogs have suffered from serious infections, both topically and internally. one woman in california says her

dog almost died. >> and her x-ray showed edema everywhere. she had so much blood in her lungs, we just weren't sure. sorry. she said, we may not make it. we're going to do the best we can. >> these reactions may not be very common, but when they do occur, they can be very serious. >> by the way, the dog ginger did make a full recovery. active d-limonene is not recommended for use on dogs or cats. today is columbus day, and several agencies are closed. in the district, schools, libraries, and local government offices are closed. in maryland, some libraries are closed. charles, prince george's, and ounties are closed. in virginia, hov restrictions are lifted on i-66, i-395 and 95, as well as the dulles toll road and libraries are also closed. all schools are closed in northern virginia, except in prince william county.
